hebervalleyquilters

Cindy Blackburn,
Guild President 2025

I am delighted to be part of Heber Valley Quilters. I attended my first meeting just two short years ago and fell in love with the group. I appreciate your knowledge, friendship, and creativity, as well as the joy and passion for quilting you bring out in me. You inspire and elevate me to new heights.

This year, I welcome the opportunity to work alongside you wild bunch of ladies, learning new techniques and fine-tuning old ones. Sharing joy and tears with you as you make a difference in so many people’s lives through your love of quilting.

I have lived in Heber for 20 years. My husband and I have five adult children and two amazing grandbabies. I love living in the country with my garden, bees, dogs, and chickens. I started sewing in elementary school, doing needlework with my grandma. I made my first log cabin quilt at the age of 12. I love..love...love colorful scrappy quilts. I guess that is a representation of my life: colorful pieces of fabric all beautifully sewn together to make a masterpiece.
