Guild Guide
Welcome! We are so glad to have you in the guild, or have you back if it has been awhile! We are excited to "Soar to New Heights" this year. We will be trying a couple of new techniques, reviewing the basics, precision piecing and best practices for quilting and sewing.
Here at www.hebervalleyquilters.com, you can read all about our purpose and mission, see the Calendar of events scheduled for this year, and check out our Archives page for links to activities, exclusive patterns, projects, and block-of-the-month inspiration from previous years.
With your paid membership, you now have access to sign in to the website's Members Only page:
Login = hebervalleyquilters Password = Soar23
This Members Only page also houses all the information and forms regarding our activities this year. Read all about these programs and if you are interested in signing up, contact the chairperson of that program.* 2023 Design Challenge (Temperature Quilts!)
* Round Robin (Build a Border) Exchange
* Friendship Block Exchange
* Charity Quilt opportunities
None of the extra activities are required, by the way. Participate as much or as little as you would like.You will receive a monthly newsletter via email each month, which is also hosted on this page.
While the website is the permanent location of the Guild's History, we also encourage you to join the Guild's Facebook group, for daily interactions between members, announcements, and a place to share what you're working on or ask for or share advice between meetings. We also post our monthly "Sew & Tell" photos here. The Facebook Group is our living scrapbook of happenings in the guild.
We will see you on the First Thursday of each month (unless otherwise specified)
6:30 to 8:30 pm
Senior Center Auditorium
located within the Wasatch County Library building
465 E. 1200 S. Heber City, Utah 84032
We normally have a lesson, demo or guest presentation, refreshments, and the highlight of the evening, "Sew & Tell". Bring projects you've made to share with the group. You can't find a more appreciative, supportive group of people! We will also be hosting a Guild Retreat on May 5th and 6th, plus a Saturday Charity Sew Day on June 17th. Additional sewing events are proposed for the Fall.Do you have any particular quilting technique you would like to learn or teach?
